As most of you know by now, I've been officially legally AND medically cleared :) It seems like I've been waiting forever BUT patience is a virtue (and something the Peace Corps stresses you learn quickly). My application has been passed on to placement and I should be hearing where I'm going and the exact date in April that I am leaving. I can't believe it's ALMOST April! Time freakin' flies.
ALSO- this past weekend was a huge weekend for Penn State! THON 2011 raised 9.56 million dollars this year! That is a 22% increase from last years THON! I had an amazing weekend with the most incredible people. I could not be more blessed!
FOX & Friends was also able to cover THON live from the Bryce Jordan Center. I remember pitching Tucker Haas in a meeting during my internship at FOX & Friends this past summer & couldn't believe that my dream to get national coverage to THON was actually coming true!
One of my most favorite parts of THON (and most people won't be surprised) was seeing my favorite group of guys rock the stage during the last hour. I've never in my life seen more energy in the BJC, ever. It was amazing. Go Go Gadjet literally had the BJC shaking! (go to www.gogogadjet.com to see if they are playing at a town near you).

So... now its a waiting game. I feel like I'm waiting for a college acceptance letter. I also finally scheduledmy day to skydive with Mark and my dad...April 18th. Cross your fingers that I don't have to leave before then! AND my birthday is1 month from today. Everyone knows how much I love countdowns ;)
